Dr. David Weinstein specializes in sports medicine, knee surgery, and shoulder and elbow disorders. He completed fellowship training at Columbia-New York Orthopaedic Hospital in New York City in shoulder and elbow reconstruction and an additional fellowship overseas in orthopedic trauma. Dr. Weinstein is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he remained to complete his orthopedic surgery residency.
As associate clinical professor at the University of Colorado Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Denver, Dr. Weinstein is an avid researcher and passionate educator. He has published numerous papers and given lectures relating to his specialties.
Dr. Weinstein has held many prestigious positions including head physician for the 2003 US Pan American Games team and the 2004 Athens Summer Olympic Games. He was a team physician for the United States at the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympic Games and the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games.

Jeremy Raulie, MS, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Jeremy serves as a physician assistant for Dr. Dave Weinstein, evaluating and treating orthopedic and sports medicine conditions. Jeremy assists in surgical procedures including arthroscopy and ligament and joint reconstruction. He is skilled in fracture and trauma care of the lower and upper extremities, including knee, foot, ankle, shoulder, and elbow.
A Colorado Springs native, Jeremy graduated from Chicago Medical School’s Finch University of Health Sciences. Before receiving his PA certification, Jeremy worked in physical therapy and as an exercise physiologist for many years. He is active in orthopedic research and education.

Shannon M. Constantinides, PhD, MSN, FNP, NP-C, RN
Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Shannon Constantinides received her PhD from Florida Atlantic University, where she specialized in the use of advanced applied biostatistics, population health, and healthcare delivery systems. As a researcher, Dr. Constantinides studies issues pertaining to musculoskeletal health and social determinants of health. She has authored many peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in the areas of orthopaedics and sports medicine, applications of statistics in clinical practice, and emancipatory philosophy. She has also written and regularly gives talks on similar topics. Dr. Constantinides graduated from the University of Colorado with her Master of Science in Nursing, and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine. She assists Dr. Weinstein in the operating room and is skilled at performing in-office imaging-guided procedures. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Dr. Constantinides was a critical care transport nurse in the United States Air Force, and later United States Army Reserve, where she primarily provided care to service members with orthopaedic trauma or who had undergone orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Constantinides has undergraduate and masters-level training in human metabolism and dietetics, and strives to provide whole-person care. Dr. Constantinides is a Colorado Springs native. She and her husband enjoy fly fishing and mountain biking. She is also a Peloton enthusiast!

Ashley Taylor, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner
Ashley is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. She works alongside both Dr. David Weinstein and Dr. Gregg Martyak, evaluating and treating shoulder, elbow, hand, and knee conditions. Ashley spends most of her time caring for patients in the clinic setting but also assists with surgeries, including arthroscopies, fracture repairs, and joint replacements among others. She is a firm believer in patient-centered and evidence-based medicine. Ashley strives to provide her patients with holistic care so they can reach their goals and optimize their health.
Ashley attended the University of Southern Indiana for graduate school and earned her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner summa cum laude. Her prior experience includes working as a nurse in one of America’s busiest ERs. Ashley also spent several years as a pre-op, OR, and PACU nurse, working closely with many CCOE surgeons.
As a proud Coloradan, Ashley has always loved the mountains and everything outdoors. She is passionate about skiing and hiking/climbing and is on her way to completing the 58 Colorado 14ers. In her free time, she and her husband also enjoy traveling and spending time with their family, friends, and fur babies.
